Introductions

Howdy folks!  I'm getting started with a journeyman league at my local store and I have dipped my toe into Circle Orboros!  I'm writing this blog to keep track of the games I am going to play and to keep myself accountable for painting.  I hope anyone who reads this out in internet land likes it and I look forward to hearing from you!

Gaming!

So, since last we spoke I've played 6 games, 4 battle box and 2 at 10 points, and I do not have a spectacular record.  I lost all 4 battle box games and won one of my 10 point games.  For our journeyman league I added a Scarsfell Gryphon for my week 2 addition and I am loving it.  Dodge is a great little buff to have access to, extended control range makes a lot of spells a real threat, and having 3 initials on a light that can carry primal and scything touch isn't anything to sneeze at.  All in all I look forward to getting a few more 10 point games in on Thursday, and to keeping yinz updated!

Howdy folks!  I'm getting started with a journeyman league at my local store and I have dipped my toe into Circle Orboros!  I'm writing this blog to keep track of the games I am going to play and to keep myself accountable for painting.  I hope anyone who reads this out in internet land likes it and I look forward to hearing from you!

Painting

So first things first!  I recently bought the Circle battle box and that gives me a Gorax Rager, a Wild Argus, a Pureblood Warpwolf, and Tanith.  Here's a shot of the battlegroup (minus Tanith) painted.

I had an absolute blast painting these guys and managed to watch enough YouTube videos to teach myself how to airbrush in the process!

Tactics

I've done a little bit of research on how to build my journeyman list, including a bit of research on playing Tanith and I've found a couple great resources.  Instead of reposting all that information, I'll redirect you to my favorite two resources, here at Druid's Dice, and Ghost Dice.  Another great resource for journeyman leagues in general is Chalkboard's Journyman Power Rankings on Bell of Lost Souls.
